#1 Rory MCILROY

(2) Abu Dhabi
(2) DP World Tour
(2) Dunhill Links
(2) Tour Champ.
It’s hard to bet against Rory these days with his four consecutive 2nd place finishes in big events. Double your points with him this week. Solid track record at Emirates Golf Club.
#2 Henrik STENSON
5.74
(13) Qatar
(MC) Abu Dhabi
(2) Hero
(1) DP World Tour
Rebounded in Qatar after a missed cut but he’s not quite playing to the level he was at the end of last year. Still, he’s a must start in your top 10. Track record at Emirates the past five years leaves something to be desired, but he’ll get his game together soon and start racking up the top 5s.
#3 Victor DUBUISSON – no longer in field as of Tuesday
5.62
(4) Abu Dhabi
(2) DP World Tour
(15) Turkish Airlines
(78) HSBC
Hasn’t played well at the Omega the past three times out, but two straight top 5s his past two tournaments means you have to have him in your lineup.
#4 Bernd WIESBERGER
5.56
(3) Qatar
(6) Abu Dhabi
(16) DP World Tour
(13) BMW Masters
Four straight top 20s, two straight top 10s. 9th place here last year. He’s trending upward, but can he sustain this level of play for months at a time?
#5 Branden GRACE
5.42
(1) Qatar
(20) Abu Dhabi
(15) South Africa
(1) Dunhill
What’s gotten into Branden? Two wins in his last four with the other finishes in the top 20. A few occurred in his home country, but he’s carried his success into the Middle East tournaments. He’s a feel good story right now, but his track record at Emirates has not been good. Perhaps another top 20 this week but not another victory.
#6 Louis OOSTHUIZEN
5.39
(2) Dunhill
(7) Nedbank
(6) DP World Tour
(14) HSBC
Limited recent track record at Emirates, but he had some good finishes in his home country coupled with the DP World Tour Championship and HSBC. It’s hard to keep him out of your lineup though it’s been a few weeks since he’s teed it up in competition.
#7 Sergio GARCIA
5.36
(46) Qatar
(12) DP World Tour
(25) Turkish Airlines
(28) HSBC
The Horse for the Course last week had a bad third round and was too far out to contend. Look for a rebound this week but probably a top 20, not a top 5. Of course, he’s always unpredictable and can go low at any time.
#8 Stephen GALLACHER
5.24
(33) Qatar
(12) Nedbank
(31) DP World Tour
(15) Turkish Airlines
Been playing well but not great. It’s hard to not put him in your lineup when you see that he’s a back-to-back winner at the Omega and finished 2nd the year before that. Those are Tiger-like numbers for a given course.
#9 Graeme MCDOWELL
5.22
(11) Hero
(47) DP World Tour
(3) HSBC
(16) BMW Masters
Hasn’t played here recently – last time was a 20th place finish in 2010. If there is someone we’d consider sliding down from our top 10, it would be Graeme (and we may just do that with Pepperell heating up or Lee Westwood being the Horse this week). Remember, an 11th place finish at the Hero is out of a field of 17 or 18 players, so it’s not a normal top 15 finish.
#10 Martin KAYMER
5.13
(3) Abu Dhabi
(21) Nedbank
(39) DP World Tour
(60) Turkish Airlines
We didn’t see what happened in Abu Dhabi, but we never like to see a big lead get wasted. He’s got a reasonable track record here and should look to rebound from his Sunday trials.

The youngster is heating up and should be considered for your lineup, though he hasn’t played well here in the past. We give younger players a break when it comes to their first few starts at a new tournament.
#12 Thongchai JAIDEE

(23) Qatar
(7) Nedbank

Mr. Consistent should find his way to another top 30-35 here but probably isn’t a realistic winner this week.

The Big Easy is playing well but hasn’t put it all together recently.

Is he cooling down or was last week a breather for him?
#15 Lee WESTWOOD

He’s our Horse for the Course this week and we’re contemplating sliding him into McDowell’s spot in our Fantasy Race to Dubai team. His last four tries here were 2nd, 15th, 2nd, 5th. That’s consistency. Besides his 47th at the DP World Tour Championship, he’s been playing quite well.

Heating up but track record here is not good.
#17 Alejandro CANIZARES

Also trending up but poor track record (which you can throw out sometimes when a golfer is playing well)

One of our sleepers last week and may be overlooked this week, but his 2nd place finish here last year should be a sign that he’s a nice sleeper pick this week.
